Yellow paint dot

Painted in Germany around 1978-79

The yellow dots I have only found on a few smurfs like Thinker and Singer. I
believe this was a dot used in Germany. For example the Thinker was never
painted in Portugal but the UK market required a dot on all smurfs
eventhough painted in Germany, therefore it was used. All Thinker sold
in UK have this yellow dot and no Thinker have mustard dot.

 

I have only found them on Thinker, Singer, Hiker and Soccer so far. Sometimes
it is a painted circle instead of a dot.
