40020 Windmill 1982

Very rare-Rare

The first windmill has grey handpainted stones and this marking. It was only during the
first years Schleich used these older type of painted cloth-coverings for the sails.

In 1982 the motorized windmill was not released so the first windmill did not have the
hole for the cable. Also the first board on the balcony did not have the part to hold the
ladder. Probably they added this to the mold because the ladder fell easily when the
windmill was running.

The wooden parts under the roof was also painted brown on this variation.
